Why Taps Start Leaking
A dripping tap is rarely random - it's usually one specific part wearing out. Knowing what's failing helps us fix it properly the first time.

Repair or Replace?
Not every dripping tap needs replacing. If the tap is in good condition and the leak is down to a worn washer or cartridge, a repair is usually the quicker and cheaper option, and it's what we'll recommend where it makes sense.
Older taps, or ones that have already been repaired multiple times, are often better replaced outright - the parts wear faster once the tap has some age on it, and a new tap gives you a fresh warranty.
